Our directors bring over 40 years of combined experience across pre-hospital medicine and emergency response, including frontline ambulance operations, event and film-set medicine, emergency planning and civil contingencies, operational management, remote clinical decision-making and volunteer leadership.

And we're only getting started.

Medical training and specialist rescue capabilities are coming soon, taking RescueMed into more challenging and specialised environments while maintaining the same commitment to professionalism, preparedness and patient care.

The Team Behind the Response

Jack Evans

Founder & Director of Operations
Jack brings experience across frontline ambulance response, operational management and emergency planning and civil contingencies. His wider experience includes event medical services, volunteer management and leading teams across large-scale events. Alongside co-founding RescueMed, Jack continues to work full-time within the NHS. As Director of Operations, he is focused on building a dependable and capable medical service, maintaining high standards of patient care while ensuring RescueMed is prepared to operate effectively across events, emergency situations and challenging environments.
Sean Gundy

Founder & Director of Response
Sean brings over 15 years of experience in pre-hospital care and emergency response, spanning private event medicine, NHS responding and frontline ambulance operations. Since 2008, he has worked across a wide range of events and challenging environments. His experience also includes volunteer management, team coordination and leadership. As co-founder and Director of Response, Sean is committed to developing RescueMed's operational response capability while delivering reliable, patient-centred medical services supported by experienced professionals and consistently high standards of care.
Luke Tomkins

Founder & Clinical Director
Luke brings over 19 years of experience in event medical services, working across clinical, control, event management and operational roles at events ranging from community gatherings to festivals and motorsport. Alongside this, he has 13 years of NHS ambulance experience, progressing through roles including Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, High Acuity Response Unit Clinician and Clinical Desk Advisor. As RescueMed's Medical Director, Luke provides clinical leadership and experience, supporting high standards of governance and the delivery of safe, professional and patient-centred care across our services.
